January 20th, 2010Editors keep track of Niunkabin – Next Steps
January 12th, 2010Fiction editors around the world keep requesting the manuscript of the fantasy saga called Niunkabin: Wonderous Worlds. This can be one of the main titles for the october 2010/march 2011 international catalogue.
In the last weeks, we have been reviewing the original text with the author and incorporating suggestions arisen from the last readers’ tests, which covered different target readers with outstanding results.
The revised manuscript will be ready by the end of February. We truly believe it is one worth waiting for!
Nuevafantasia at the Frankfurt Book Fair
November 12th, 2009Last month we attended the Frankfurt Book Fair, which was held between October 14th and 16th, as Trade Visitors. The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world’s largest trade fair for books, based on the number of publishing companies represented.
Our goal was to get in touch with different players in the international publishing industry, so that we could start working during 2010 towards the progressive international launch of Niunkabin: Wonderous Worlds. Nuevafantasia’s Foreign Rights Managers were supported by our Creative Advisors, Managing Directors and Corporate Strategy Officer.
Before going to the Book Fair, a group of 15 professionals was involved (taking into account illustrators, marketing consultants, graphic designers, in-house translators, etc.) in its preparation. Market surveys had confirmed that we were dealing with an extremely good book to start-up with, so all we had to do was communicate the results of those tests to the right people.
Finally, we had the opportunity to speak with many of the most important fiction editors of different publishing houses. Once we broke through the skepticism that is expected of a newcomer to the industry such as nuevafantasia, the publishers were enthusiastic about evaluating the book and working with us. In the end, the text of the manuscript will speak for itself.After making 160 contact details all over the world, thanking to the great effort of our professionals, we can definitely say that the Frankfurt Book Fair ’09 is the place were our company was definitely launched to the market.

Can a small start-up harbour one of the most astonishing fantasy sagas of the 21st. century?
October 6th, 2009It is not our task to speak for readers, librarians, critics or bloggers. They will be the ones to judge this book upon its real merits. However, there are things that we can actually say at this point.
When we first read the original manuscript of the book Niunkabin, Wonderous Worlds, we were thrilled. Was it as dazzling as it seemed? Could it be true? We decided to make a readers test, surrounded by certain secrecy. As new readers experienced the thrill of it by themselves, we realized that what we had in our hands had the potential to become something really big. We had the enormous responsibility to take the story as far as it could go, bringing it closer to the general public.
Now more than ever, people read the same books and watch the same movies no matter where: Canada, Australia or Sweden. New talents may be found anywhere across the globe. This makes the challenge of finding great stories more exciting, and makes the task of bringing these stories to the general public a titanic one (as the market is… the world!).

Niunkabin: Wonderous Worlds
September 29th, 2009Our first project is the fantasy book Niunkabin: Wonderous Worlds, an extremely inspiring adventure story that will transport the reader not just to one, but to several imaginary worlds. This is the beginning of an ambitious saga that can create as much enthusiasm in the public as the most successful sagas you can possibly think of.
Niunkabin: Wonderous Worlds contains all the ingredients of a grand story, with delicate and meticulous character architecture.
This novel is conceived for readers aged 13 and above. Whereas young readers feel appealed by its lavish use of imagination, the more mature reader cannot fail to be indifferent to the moral undercurrent hidden within these pages, nor by the astrophysical phenomena governing the laws of Niunkabin.
Why nuevafantasia?

After the amazing commercial success of Harry Potter (both the books and the movies) and Peter Jackson’s remake of The Lord of The Ring for theaters, the popularity of fantasy as a gender has sky-rocketed. Fantasy is not something meant only for children or fans anymore. Fantasy is for all kinds of public, because people love it as much as we do.
However, when we have a look at classics such as Gulliver’s Travels, Peter Pan or Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, we will soon realize that they have little or nothing to do with orcs, elphs, dragons or wizards. They are still full of fantasy and magic though! This is the reason why nuevafantasia is born. There are already many stories related to witches, unicorns, or vampires. We want to do something different.
We believe that it is possible to find new epic adventures that do not require these characters. Stories that are able to reinvent fantasy, somehow. There are new stories and heroes out there, willing to be brought to the public. That is our task and our responsibility.
We have already found an epic adventure that has the potential to become one of the most earth-shattering sagas of recent times. One that will cause an everlasting impact in the market! Its name is Niunkabin: Wonderous Worlds.
Niunkabin is only the beginning. Wait and see… and enjoy the journey with us!
Nuevafantasia is born
